Hotels

We are planning this TRLC to be a great time of learning and connecting - and we don't want you to loose time from the weekend by focusing on setting up a tent or other sleeping arrangements. Because of this we encourage you to stay in one of the several nearby hotels so that you can relax at the end of the day and be ready for the day ahead.

Recommended Hotels

The following hotels are the recommended hosting for all attending the TRLCMN2020 event. These hotels are within walking distance of the TRLC event location (yes, even in MN in March). Other Hotels

Camping

For those that are up to a bit of a challenge (and have the proper gear), we have a limiited amount of free camping space available at a nearby Christian camp. The weather in MN in March can change quickly and significantly, so we only recommend that you use this option if you have the gear and know what you are doing. Hot breakfast is available for a small fee.

If you are interested in this option please use the Contact Us link above to check availability and request space for yourself or your group.

Groups of Navigator/Adventurer Trailmen

We have a VERY LIMITED amount of space for Navigator/Adventurer trailmen to sleep in a camp lodge facility in one medium/large-room setting. Trailmen would need to bring sleeping gear for inside (pad, sleeping bag, etc.). Lodging is free. There is a small charge for Saturday morning hot camp-style breakfast (provided).

This option is reserved for troops bringing 3 or more trailmen to the TRLC.

If you are interested in this for your Navigator/Adventurer Trailmen please use the Contact Us link above to check availability and request space for your group of trailmen.

Transporation

Driving

The TRLC location and housing locations are easily accessible from highway 35W just north of Minneapolis. The location has plenty of free parking. All housing locations mentioned here have free parking available.

Air

We are within just a short drive from the Twin Cities International Airport. With direct flights to most of the areas within the country, serviced by several major carriers, you should be able to find a flight that works with our TRLC schedule.

We will also be making available shuttle service from and to the airport from the recommended hotels above. If you would like shuttle service we will need you to use the Contact Us link above to let us know your flight information by March 2. We will follow-up with you related to any details for your transportation.

Train

St. Paul is serviced by AmTrack with one eastbound and one westbound train per day. Although not as quick as air fare, if you are traveling from Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, or North Dakota, traveling here by train may be a nice, relaxed means to get here. We can also provide suttle service if needed if you let us know (via the Contact Us link above) by March 2.
